Dear Fellow Federationists:

This is just a reminder that the meeting of the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the National federation of the blind of Maryland will take place tomorrow, Saturday, April 16, at the National Center for the blind, 200 east wells Street at Jernigan Place, Baltimore 21230. The meeting will be held in the main fourth floor conference room and will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Breakfast, prepared by the students and staff of the core program at Blind industries and Services of Maryland, will be served in the dining room at 9 a.m. They're bringing lots and lots of food, so you won't want to miss this great breakfast. Other reasons you won't want to miss this meeting include:

 * The Maryland Association of Blind Students will be auctioning off four gift baskets (two wine baskets, a candle basket, and a large Easter basket) during the meeting. The students will also raffle off another candle basket and a game basket. Raffle tickets will be a dollar each or six for $5. And there's more--the students will also hold a meet and greet after the meeting in the NCB lunchroom. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. You will be asked to contribute $5 for food.
 * You'll learn how to make an ask to raise funds in the Race for Independence.
 * Dr. Jonathan Lazar and doctoral candidate Abiodun Olalere, from Towson University, are soliciting the help of blind job seekers to learn about your experiences in seeking and applying for jobs on-line. You might want to plan to hang around after the meeting to talk with them about your experiences.
 * You'll learn all the latest national and state NFB news.
 *

See you tomorrow!

Sincerely:

Chris Danielsen, Chapter President
