Hello All,

Everyone is cordially invited to attend the Friends of LBPH Annual Meeting.

Date: October 22, 2011

Place: LBPH, 415 Park Ave., Baltimore, MD

Time: 10:00 am - 12:30pm

While death is a certainty, we never know the time and place. How did a
successful blind businessman develop the courage, confidence, trust and
teamwork to enable him to escape death from the World Trade Center attack on
9/11?

Michael Hingson, the author of Thunder Dog: The True Story of a Blind Man,
His Guide Dog, and the Triumph of Trust at Ground Zero, will share his life
experiences that helped him meet the challenges of that sudden, devastating
event. Come to the Friends of LBPH Annual Meeting to meet and hear our
keynote speaker tell his inspirational story. Autographed audio and print
books will be available for purchase.

At this meeting Friends will also recognize the invaluable contributions of
the volunteers that assist LBPH. LBPH could not function without its
volunteers.

Friends will also conduct a bake sale for the benefit of LBPH. After a
heavy dose of information, buying a treat for a good cause will provide the
finishing touches to the morning's activities. Bring a treat, your wallet,
and your enthusiasm for LBPH.

Sharon Maneki
