            Hi all,

I just heard about this and thought it worth sharing. It sounds like a
great opportunity to support others in our community as well as just another
way to show blind peole out and about. Just FYI.

Dear brother and sisters,

Through the recent activities of the National Bible Association, we have
been developing friendships with other bible believing congregations in the
Baltimore area. In particular, we have a growing partnership and friendship
with the Chizuk Amuno Congregation.

Please see the email below where we have been invited to attend the American
Chanukah Concert with the United States Naval Academy Band this Sunday at
4pm. Are you most welcome to attend and feel free to invite friends and
family as well.

All the best,

Pat

 U. S. Naval Academy Band to Perform at Chizuk Amuno

Through the efforts of T Herbert Dimmock, Chizuk Amuno Congregation will
host the United States Naval Academy Band for a stirring and unique Chanukah
concert. It is a rare and special honor for our congregation to have been
selected to present this talented and versatile band.

The United States Naval Academy Band has been providing music for the
Brigade of Midshipmen and surrounding community since 1852. Rabbi Shulman
will present a patriotic reading and Hazzan Perlman will invite the
assemblage to join with him and the esteemed band in singing during the
special arrangement of Chanukah melodies. A tribute medley including
"Anchors Away" and the "Marine Hymn" will take place at the end of the
concert to pay tribute to the entire armed services.

The concert is free and open to the public. Please bring your friends and
congregants...
