Subject: announcement about MWADB membership meeting

Hello friends and supporters of MWADB!

It's that time again to have our biennial general membership meeting and
holiday potluck lunch.

When: Saturday, Dec. 14, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Lunch at noon, meeting at 1:00

Where: Calvary Lutheran Church, 9545 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD
(Same place as the special meeting in Sept. Note: Gallaudet has a new
policy of charging $150 to use their room, plus we need to pay $100 for
one-day insurance, so it's too expensive to meet at Gallaudet.)

MWADB will provide a variety of soups, rolls, and drinks. Please bring a
holiday dish to share: casserole, salad, vegetables, dessert, drinks, etc.

We will vote for a new board that will serve for the next two years,
including president, vice-president, treasurer, and secretary. If you are
interested in running for a board position, email Blaise Delahoussaye, the
election chairperson, right away at nomination at mwadb.org
<mailto:nomination at mwadb.org> and tell him which position you are
interested in.

At the meeting Deafblind members will also vote on other issues, including
the revised bylaws and other topics members bring to the meeting, so please
plan to be there! You can review the proposed bylaws at
http://mwadb.org/resources/bylaws.html Minutes from the 2011 general
membership meeting will be emailed to the Deafblind listserv this week for
your review.

RSVP for the meeting through the web at www.mwadb.org/rsvp
<http://www.mwadb.org/rsvp> or by email to rsvp at mwadb.org. You can request
an SSP and transportation in your rsvp message.
