Dear Greater Baltimore Chapter family:

Please read the below appeal from my colleague Ilana Posner regarding help that is needed to make our
Dot Dash 6K race in June a success. I hope many of you can stay after the chapter meeting to help with this project on April 19.

Dear Fellow Federationists,

We want to get the word out about our 6 Dot Dash to advance Braille literacy, and we need your help! We are recruiting volunteers to stay after chapter meeting on April 19, to help us prepare our mailing to the local running community.

What we need from you: members will stick pre-addressed labels on our Dot Dash flyer. Please let me know if you are ready and willing to help.

Additionally, if you are interested in either attending this year's 6 Dot Dash or in fundraising for the 6 Dot Dash, please visit https://nfb.org/dot-dash.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
