[Greater-Baltimore] Maryland Primary Election Survey

Hi Everyone,

Today is the final day you can vote during Maryland's primary election early voting period. If you don't vote during the early voting period, you can still make you voice heard (if you are registered as a Democrat or Republican) on primary election day, April 26.

SBE has instructed poll judges not to inform voters of the availability of the accessible voting machine, and to offer paper ballots for hand marking to all voters except those with "obvious" disabilities. Therefore, if you want to use the accessible voting machine, it is very important that you state you want to use it when you check in with poll judges. Once you have requested to use the accessible voting machine, poll judges must honor your request.

We have received word that some early voters in Maryland who stated they wanted to use the accessible voting machine have been questioned by poll judges about their eligibility to use the accessible machine. Any Maryland voter has the right to use the accessible voting machine. If poll judges question in any way your request to use the accessible voting machine, you have the right to firmly, but politely, insist on using the accessible machine. It is also extremely important that you report your experience by completing the short survey, which can be accessed at the link below.
