The low vision community is one which frequently gets overlooked by
many groups. Not “blind” enough to use accessible products for the
blind and not sighted enough to use mainstream products and services.
On Saturday, June 11, the Maryland State Library for the Blind and
Physically Handicapped will have a special presentation to assist the
low vision community with apps and services to lend support for daily
activities and work life.
The presentation will be conducted by Kelly Blake who is a DORS
Counselor with the Office of Blindness and Vision Services and
co-hosted by Justin Creamer who is a Rehabilitation Technologist.
The 90-minute program begins at 10 AM at LBPH which is located at 415
Park Avenue.
