Dear Fellow Federationists:
Please consider attending the below event, and please share this information with others. Our own President Mark Riccobono and longtime NFB of MD member Charles Biebl are featured in this film.
Nearly 250,000 people are legally paid less than the minimum wage, on average, less than $2 an hour. Bottom Dollars, a Rooted in Rights original documentary, exposes the exploitation of people with disabilities through personal stories and expert interviews. The documentary calls for the phase out of this unfair practice and offers solutions for inclusive employment and fair wages.
Bottom Dollars will be screening at The National Federation of the Blind<https://www.google.com/maps/place/National+Federation-The+Blindfirstname.lastname@example.org,-76.6122683,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x89c8036d004bea97:0xe4bf3f6538e23f0e!8m2!3d39.2689608!4d-76.6100796> on Tuesday, October 18th at 6:00 pm. The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
We are celebrating our 75th year and planning for the future we will build together!
Make your contribution<https://nfb.org/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=1> to that future now.
