Thanks ronda maybe you’re message got picked up by bulk mail Huh? Anyway, as I mentioned several friends have passed away in the last several years. Sharon told me many years ago of the passing of one former roommate of mine from MSB and he was even a classmate. His name was Jeffery kroose according to Sharon he was very active in the greater-baltimore chapter. I have several friends down there that work for B.I.S.M and several friends in NFB down there. In fact you guys snatched away one of ours Huh? Tracey hall was one of the first to put me wise to NFB way back in 1993 just before Joe Ruffalo became our president, and to see how the NFB state affiliate has grown since I joined in 2002 is absolutely incredible. I’m very happy to be a part of it. I had served on our braille division as a board member and now serve as a board member of the central jersey chapter. I hope we can find denise and bring her into the NFB because we need her as badly as she may need us. That’s why I joined back in 2002 Huh/ I realized as much as NFB could help me, I now understood that my opinion also counted Huh?

Hi list ken lawrence from the central jersey chapter here and alumni of the Maryland school for the blind. Have been on a couple of the coronavirus calls to see if any of my friends are on them and are well down there. I have checked on a couple friends of mine that work for BISM and they are well. I have been thinking a lot lately really since the 75 days campaign about someone who I had heard but can?t verify that they had basicly given up on life. This person was extremely gifted in braille and in fact probably a better reader and writer than me. She sure was much more neat at braille than me Huh? She also however had a physical impairment that I think frustrated her. It was a problem with her bones that made it more likely for her to be hurt in a fall so she was afraid to even try walking with her walker. I can?t remember where she lived now, but at school she rode on the st. mary?s county bus to and from each weekend. I was wondering if perhaps she is a member of NFB or if possible she could become one. Does anyone on list who maybe went to MSB in 1980/81 remember her or know where she might be now. I did email the president of the state affiliate down there but got no answer back and Sharon manakee doesn?t know her either. Her name is Denise Carter, and she would be about 54 years old now. Can anyone help me find her and if she?s not in NFB can we get her into the organization? I have already brought another friend here in NJ in and it?s ironic her name is also denise. Anyway I?m hopeful that any of my former friends from NFB who maybe are on this list are well. I was very sorry to hear on a presidential release of the passing away of a Richard grove. I?m assuming this is the same person who graduated MSB in 1980 but came back to the school for our ham radio club meetings with his dad and they both tested and received their licenses here?s hoping the rest of you are well down there. Several friends of mine from MSB including one former roommate of mine have passed away in recent years.

Hi Ken, I did write you back and it must?ve gotten lost in spam. I also asked Sharon to reach out to you. I do not know Denise Carter but did put some feelers out in the southern Maryland area and have not heard back from anyone. We will keep looking though.
