Hi! netters:

My hard drive failed reently and I lost everything. Computer shop
tried to retrieve my files and documents, but were able to save only
a few as the old hard drive, for some unknown reason, became
corrupted. All my e-mail including addresses are gone with the wind.

The folk at gwmicro are working with me trying to figure out why I
can get Double Talk Lite to work. It did before the crash.

But in the meantime I have been using the Dectalk programs that comes
with Window-Eyes and the Microsoft voice, which, is terrible. I often
must spell a word in order to understand what it is saying.

All this bring me to the question: have any of you had experience
with the Text To Speech programs use the Nuance voices. Can I
substitute one of their voice for the awful thing from Windows? Can
the program be run as a substitute for Double Talk? At the moment, I
am running Window-Eyes 6.1. Would appreciate help and advice.
