No, the answer is no. NVDA apparently can run the 64-bit version, and so
can the new System Access. There is no other choice.

Subject: [gui-talk] JAWS and 64 bit Operating Systems

Hi everyone,

After taking the time to carefully choose a new laptop to meet my needs, I
excitedly brought it home and began to instal the latest version of JAWS,
only to discover that JAWS doesn't support 64 bit operating systems.
Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed.

The guy at FS was useless, and I can exchange my laptop, but I won't be able
to find one running a 32 bit operating system that is as good and as cheap.
In other words, this failure of JAWS will likely cost me money.

I wonder if anyone knows of any solutions. I gather System Access now works
with 64 bit operating systems, but I would prefer to stay with JAWS for now.
Is there anyway to make JAWS run with 64 bit operating systems (Vista in my
case).

I need this laptop right away, so I have no choice but to exchange it
tomorrow unless someone can offer me a suggestion soon.

Thanks,

Marc
