[gui-talk] Still trying to help my friend with WinTrans and Blazer

My friend, Linda, downloaded WinTrans and was able to translate the 
document.  But, now the Blazer won't emboss.  She thought it was the cable, 
but it does do a test page after she added it as a text printer.

The Blazer appears to be made in 1994.  Would this have anything to do with 
why it isn't working with WinTrans?  Mine says October 1, 1999, and it works 
just fine.  She called Freedom Scientific and the gentleman she spoke with 
said he didn't think it would help to upgrade the firmware.  Is this right?

Finally, would using Duxbury make a difference?
