Hi Steve,

When she printed the test page, it was from the Add Printer setup.  It did 
emboss, then.  She is connected to LPT1, and that's what WinTrans says.

She's going to try a demo of Duxbury to see if that makes any difference.

How is she embossing the test page?  In particular, she isn't using Wintrans 
for that is she?  I do not think the firware is
the issue, but probably how the printer is defined to WINTRANS.  At some 
point, she had to tell Windows where to find
the printer. LPT1: COM1: or something like that.  Do you know what she used?
