The key is for the Victor Stream, the Book Sense and other non NLS players. It is a file that you download and install to the player to activate it to play the NLS downloaded files and is done only once. And it is FREE no matter what Albert keeps saying.

jen,

Is there even such a thing as an NLS "key?" If so, what is it? A secret code
you have to enter at some point along with your ID and password? I don't get
this. I've never had a key of any sort to anything. I've been sent a certain
character string and asked to use it to confirm myself as a paid-up customer
when I download updates to a certain program I use. Is that what people call
a "key?"

but I've never had any suc thing with NLS, and I don't belong to the RFD and
D thing.

I have a stream, I did not pay anything for my NLS key.
