[gui-talk] To Les, about your computers

Les, I was not trying to be difficult. But someone told me off list that
you'd neglected to type the "u" in the word "use," and had meant to say that
you use your Windows machine less and less. But jaws said that you saw it
less and less. Or saw both of them less and less.

I asked huh? And you said you were trying to make some sort of analogy,
which further confused me. I trusted what I'd heard simply because Eloquence
didn't trip over the error, which I have to mention that spell check would
have caught, and gamely pronounced it "see." As in "Bob and I seem to be
drifting apart. I see him less and less often."\

I just couldn't figure out what that meant in regard to your two computers.
And then some sort of analogy? Between what and what? Totally confused. Then
Albert scolds me for being thick or stubborn or something. More confusion.

but it turns out to have been an unfortunate typo that to my innocent ear
didn't sound like something that needed to be inspected more closely,
because it sounded like proper English and therefore I figured you must have
meant something I wasn't understanding.

Yikes. Well, it's all right, now.
