[gui-talk] Which companies should I contact?

James,

This reinforces my original feeling that you will have to contact companies that produce the word processors and
publishing software, won't you? I don't see the mystery there. Even Kurzweil won't help you that much if you want to
get back to where documents are created. Open Office is being used more to create documents, and it is open source,
so that might provide a proof of concept. You will have to be specific as to how your product will integrate with other
products. Open Office has a web site that you could access at

http://www.openoffice.org

This Word Processor is not widely used by blind persons yet has accessibility has been an issue in the past, but it can
produce a number of document formats and might be a place to see what documents look like when using your
process. In addition, it might provide you with a way to see what sort of pain there is to integrate.

Thanks for writing and good luck.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
