Dear GUI-Talk listers,
On this last day of 2009, I'd like to wish everyone on this list a new year 
of health, financial security, and personal satisfactions. And I'd like to 
thank everyone for their help with all matters technical, and for the 
kindness and civility that rules here.

And if I may, I'd like to also mark the passing of Albert Griffith, whom I'd 
long ago become friends with in private email starting with some congenial 
tech support or kidding around on this list. For those who may not have 
known him so well, I can assure you that he was a thoughtful, intelligent 
and compassionate man. Whom I continue to miss, sorely. Just wanted to give 
this little tribute.

Again, best wishes to all for the New year.
