Here's another weird thing that's been happening lately. Not at every site, 
but at the New York Times http://www.nytimes.com when I click on an active 
link in a daily Times headlines email, often if I alt Tab to go see how the 
page is loading, which used to be okay to do, even if the loading was still 
in progress, now Jaws loses speech, even if I alt tab back into another 
running application, which I can see on the screen I'm managing to do, even 
though of course I can't see the details.

Eventually, usually, when the page fully loads, speech will come back and 
I'll regain control of things. Sometimes this happens, sometimes not. I 
haven't methodically experimented to see exactly what I've clicked on when 
it happens or doesn't. But it never used to do this.

Okay. I guess I'm hoping someone out there is like a doctor and can diagnose 
what's up with my browser, based on my previous message plus this
