[gui-talk] opinions need

Since a net book is a smaller lap top I'd think you'd want to compare the
weight difference to see if another but smaller lap top would be worth the
outlay of cash. You might consider a large capacity mobile phone or a hand
held computer like an accessible PDA.

I am also interested in this -- perhaps use the netbook for trips and my
computer at home (which is a laptop) with all the data on hard disk stays
home. I'd have to sync things like email and favorites. Anyone else do
this/? Till now I've just been carrying my laptop, which is my main machine
with me on trips.
Thanx

Hello all,

I am upgrading my computer equipment and need to know whether it is better
to purchase a net book or a laptop?
I am getting a new desktop computer, and I wanted a second machine for
taking on trips.

Even though the memory and hard drive capacity of the netbook are
considerably less than a laptop, I like the concept of a simple machine that

doesn't cost much.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Liz
