Ok the problem with JAWS 8 and 9 with Internet Explorer depends on how the
web page is laid out. If you are using ARIA, the keyboard shortcuts will
not work with JAWS 8 aned are limited in support for JAWS 9. Since most web
designers are not using ARIA at this time, it may not show up that much when
you use JAWS 8 or 9, but it will show up when people start to implement the
new formats in web design.

This is a table of the problems with JAWS 9 and Window Eyes 7 with Internet
Explorer. http://www.paciellogroup.com/blog/misc/landmarks.html

For those who can see, they will notice that drop down menus do not draw
that well when you are using JAWS 8 or 9. JAWS will interfere with the way
a webpage is displayed on the screen. These bugs are well publicized by
Microsoft and they recommend the blind upgrade to JAWS 10.

ARIA is a method of describing web page content and quite frankly most
people do not use it. But it will be used and these errors will be more
noticeable as time goes by. Since most of the blind in this country are
unemployed the time delay in upgrading JAWS is longer than the product cycle
of Internet Explorer, so these issues are going to crop up.
