I just posted version 1.1 of my
TextToClip
Script which contains some additional features.
The help is pasted below:
 
Press Alt-Windows-T to select a text file and copy its contents to the clipboard.
You can also append a file or several files to the clipboard.
There are also options to view the contents of the clipboard and to clear the clipboard.
There is also an info button which gives you information about what is on the clipboard.
If you just want to select 1 file, choose copy, and the script will copy your file and exit.
If you want to append one or more files to the current contents of the clipboard, use append and close when you are finished.
There are two sample files included for demonstration purposes.
Once you provide your own text files, 
the two sample files TextToClip1.txt and TextToClip2.txt can be deleted.
All of the text files that you want included in the list 
must be in the same folder as the TextToClip script.
Also, the name of each file (without the .txt extension) 
must be listed in the file:
TextToClipList.txt.
The TextToClipList.txt file must only contain one filename per line.
I hope you find the TextToClip  utility useful
for pasting chunks of text that you need to use over and over again in your work. ]]>
