Hello Mike,

ITunes 9 works fairly well with JAWS. I'm using version JAWS 11. The reason
I say it works fairly well is that I think the response time can be sluggish
at times. I'm not a Window Eyes user, so I don't know if there is a
difference when using that screen reader.
Some people have purchased the JAWS scripts for ITunes, but I've been able
to use the software without spending the extra money on the scripts.

I've also heard that ITunes works well with SA to go.

If you purchase the Iphone 4, you will need iTunes in order to register the
phone and manage your contacts and so forth.

If you are going to have media on your phone, such as music, pod casts and
audio books, that also requires that you use ITunes to sync the content.

In fact, when I installed ITunes, I believe it automatically imported my
music files in to the ITunes library.
I haven't gottten the IPhone 4 yet, but I've installed the Version 4
software which works with the 3GS.

When you purchase the IPhone, I wouldn't give up your other cell phone just
yet, as learnign to navigate the touch screen requires time and patience. At
first, I didnt' want to be without a phone that I could use quickly, if I
had to.
I signed up for AT&T's family plan for that reason.

Having said that, I'm glad I took the plunge!!

best regards

Liz Campbell
