Hi Everyone.

Found this article on the news-mob website linked from www.wayfinder.com
and their twitter feed. Its official, wayfinder is closing down and
servers will be taken offline in a few months time yet to be determined.
Article is below but for anyone wanting to check the story out on the web,
the link is at the bottom of the article pasted here:
The company cited the substantial change in the commercial market for
navigation services after Google and Nokia launched free services late
last year. The Company's portfolio included its flagship product Wayfinder
Navigator that enables in-car navigation services. Last February, the
company claimed a customer base of over 2 million.

"People expect to have (navigational services) and they don't expect to
have to pay," a spokeswoman told Reuters, adding that was not the case
when they bought the company.

A couple of months after buying the company, Vodafone replaced the board
of directors with its own nominees.

Customers will be offered a migration to other services before the
Wayfinder is completely closed down in a few months time.
