If your PC is announcing JAWS with the version and build number your cursor 
is all ready focused to the JAWS application. I commend you to tap the alt 
key to see if that keystroke produces the JAWS application menus. If this 
fails, I would check to see if JAWS is running from the system tray, 
although I would doubt this if your screen prompt is announcing JAWS as you 
describe. Simply press and hold insert while tapping F11 will produce the 
list of programs running through the system tray, then tab to any of four 
options which include single left click, double left click, single right 
click, and single right click. If this process doesn't enable you to access 
the JAWS menu system the only option I can think of is to call fFS tech 
support at 727 803 8600, then press 2 for software support. Be prepared to 
tell the help desk analyst which OS you are running, e.g., Win XP with 
Service Pack 3 or Windows ME or whatever is your actual OS. I would also be 
prepared to tell him or her your JAWS serial number.

As a word of encouragement, the FS tech support staff is very good and 
helped me to resolve an interface issue between JAWS and Excel 2010 early 
this morning. Hope this helps.
