[gui-talk] Phantom Windows

Mike,

Darn, I was hoping you would risk your computer before I risked mine.  Seriously, I gather this one is pretty safe, and I occasionally hear that window title 
while I am working on my computer, so I am seriously thinking of experimenting with not starting the process in case it is causing other problems.  However, 
like you, I usually just do an ALT-F4 and it is gone.  Sometimes, just ALT-TABbing away seems to do it.
