Hi Andy,
It's not bothering anything but I just like to have my apps totally off
when I'm not using them. I know my computer has the horse power to
handle lots of stuff running behind the scene I just like to have things
fully shut down when I exit them.
Do you know how I can do this using Windows8? I am going to make an
assumption here and ask if it is the same as Win7.
Dave

iIf using XP, you can hit CONTROL-ALT-DELETE to bring up the task
manager and stop it there. in Win 7, the command to bring up the task
manager is CONTROL-SHIFT-ESCAPE. Or, if it's not bothering anything, you
can just leave it alone.

Hi Listers,
How can I prevent Outlook2003 from constantly running in the background?
Even when I shut it down there are two icons for Outlook and their
Customer Experience program running in the system tray. I have looked
through the preferences menus and other places and I don't see an
obvious method to turn this off. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks.
