Thanks, Kelly. I have had this computer for almost 3 years and, lately, it
has started doing strange things. I don't know what or how I caused it to
go to Internet Explorer 10 but, ever since then, these little things seem to
come up. Thanks for the help with the auto-complete.

This is likely the same dialog. It says type the internet address of a
document.

To turn off the autocomplete feature do the following:

1. Press alt+t for tools.
2. Choose Internet Options.
3. Press shift+tab to get to general.
4. Arrow over to advanced.
5. Tab to the list of options.
6. Press u until you hear use inline autocomplete.
7. Turn that off.

Kelly

Subject: [gui-talk] Internet Explorer 10 Question

Hello,

I don't know what I did to cause this to happen. I have Windows 7.0, JAW
14, and Internet Explorer 10 which I somehow ended up with without realizing
I was updating... Now, today, when I hit control-o, I get the option of
opening a a document rather than an internet address. I don't remember
hearing that before and I don't know how to change it back to an internet
address or website. Am I just now noticing something that's been that w3ay
all along? The most annoying part is that when I start to type, with each
letter, various words are spoken as if the edit box wants to automatically
fill in something I have previously typed. How can I get this feature to
stop? Thanks.
