At my work, we use MS Office, and some proprietary applications. JAWS
does not work out of the box with these aplications. They must have
custom scripts written. I would imagine that any screen reader that
allows for scripting could be uused with these applications.

I'd be surprised if they last another 10 years, there's simply no reason
to
pay more for a screen reader than for a computer itself, that's nuts.
