[GUI-Talk] Network Conflicts in the Event Log

Hi,

There is a network conflict on my network which causes a warning message to
appear on one of my computers. The warning tells me to contact my network
administrator and further advises me to look in the event log for more
information. Well, I contacted my network administrator, who happens to be
me, and he didn't know any more about this than I did. Since my network is
set up to assign IP addresses using DHCP, I have to assume that there is a
device somewhere that is using a static address. My question is whether
anyone here can direct me to the correct section of the event log to find
these messages. There are a huge number of messages in that log in several
different categories. The warning message does not tell me anything about
where to look in the event log. My thought is that possibly something there
would give me an idea of which device I should check. Thanks for any help.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
