Thanks for the suggestion, I will take another look.  I thought, though, that I had to pick a category of messages before I could look at them.  Maybe I did not understand the interface, though.

check the last part of the log since it is written consecutively from
first event to last, synchronising the time of the message to  your latest
logon or it's latest occurrence.
