[GUI-Talk] GUI Frameworks Question

Well, I am not a lawyer -- but I would suggest these things:

If customers don't ask for it, developers won't do it -- that is, the 
users of frameworks have to demand accessibility before it will be widespread.

Secondly, these are tools, and not end sites, so they wouldn't be 
covered by most existing laws or regulations.

Also, if a Federal agency wanted to purchase one, it might be covered 
under Section 508 of the Rehab Act, but that is probably as much as 
you are going to get.

I think some of the frameworks are open source, so this plus the tool 
nature, plus not much law makes it a difficult task.  I read about 
sxome framework accessibility, but it is by no means universal.
