Leave Lawrence at 9:00 a.m. Will put you in wichita at I-35 exit 42 about 11:15. SCKs Can be wating just pass the ramp at exit 42 to save time. There is a rest stop ,(Towanda), just befor Wichita, and a rest stop ,(Bell Plain), just past Wichita. This would put us at  Edmond Ok. exit 146 about 1:15pm with an average travling speed of 70 mph and one 15 minet rest stop for Lawrence. Add one moor 15 minet to the trip and we will arive just before 6:00 or just after, it is to close to call. If we increas our travel speed to 75 arivae time should about 5:30. The good news is thanks to cell phones we can make the call to hold the rooms if we need to.
  Edmond Ok. is 133 miles from Wichita and 89 miles from the border of Ok. and Ks.
