Emily was a 2009 NFB of Kansas scholarship winner. Thought all of you would like to hear her good news of completing her Bachelors degree. Her degree is in Global Studies, an interdisciplinary degree focusing on Anthropology, Foreign Languages and World Geography. Wow!Emily we are so proud of you and look forward to  the many doors that should now be available to you  as you pursue a career. Those of us that have gone through college know and understand how many obstacles the blind student will encounter and need to overcome before successfully reaching this point... congratulations and best wishes.
