Hi everyone - I have been using old school access to the Braille Monitor via cassettes - since they are no longer available, I updated my News line account for access starting now. You may have noticed the earlier announcement and this reminded me that I needed to select a new method for using the Monitor. I just finished reading the November issue, and if you haven't had a chance to do so yet, here are a few interesting tide bits that I want to share:
- the Maurer family recently had lunch at the CCB- the menu and recipes are in the Monitor - some great sounding recipes come from Colorado, including a Black Forest cake from Diane McGeorge; an interesting recipe for salmon in a horse radish sauce
- Hadley's new entrepreneur course available for those seriously considering starting their own business. I could have used this course many years ago while I was developing my dance studio that I ran for nearly 10 years. These free instructional modules should help the future business owner think through all the many challenges of starting and growing a business
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving - we all have so much to be thankful for including our wonderful federation family. Dianne
