...one of our NFB members, Jill Miller, Tom Page's wife and presenter at last falls state convention, was on local Wichita television tonight! She was supporting the small business owner by promoting what is called "cash mobs" for mom and pop businesses in Wichita's Delaino district this Saturday, 10-5 pm. This concept of "cash mobs" is a take-off from "flash mobs" made famous and sometimes infamous these past years through twitter alerts of where the action is taking place. Cash mobs is apparently and event throughout the country in the hope of encouraging support for smaller, local businesses. One, Sugar Sisters was named on channel 10 news tonight by Jill - not sure if she helped these business owners write their business plans or not - way to go Jill! (Tom do you have the 5 businesses that are being noted for Saturday's "cash mob"? Dianne
