...thought this might get your attention federationists! The April edition of the ACB Braille Forum, article 21, is self congratulatory in the effort of one ACB member in doing what she calls, rescuing the NFB members of South Carolina by starting an ACB chapter... Other articles within this edition appear to dwell on their inability to attract younger members and hold their attention to build loyalty. The note from the president is quite interesting as well... noting that anyone with a different philosophy than that of the status quo (ACB or traditional, - in other words) is misusing public money, if employed in the public sector and simply working in a philosophy different from the mainstream...this helps us remember how difficult it is to make change within a system committed to perpetuating the low expectations for the future of the blind...Dianne
