Meet us at the 2nd floor of the Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library at 40 West 20th Street in Manhattan.

At this open house, Blind, low-vision and sighted community members can: 

Learn about tactile embossing, swellform printing and 3d printing by exploring the equipment and samples of graphics in each medium;

Try low-tech tactile drawing with affordable materials;

Explore accessible tools for making precise angles, lines and measurements;

Try the Graphiti, an interactive digital graphics tablet;

Network with other patrons who care about graphics accessibility;

Take home a drawing, image or map.
