Each month, the President of the National Federation of the Blind sends out a recorded message, where he shares NFB news and updates. 

6:00 pm - Call to Order, Welcome, Minutes, Treasurer’s Report, and Introductions

6:15 pm - DOT: Edmund Asiedu from the Department Of Transportation (DOT) will be giving a presentation on New York City’s E-Scooter pilot.

6:50 pm - EPPs: Ray Wayne will lead a discussion about Exclusive Pedestrian Phases, a new traffic pattern being implemented in the City.

7:00 pm - Family Connections: This is a time reserved for members to share life’s triumphs/tragedies, if they wish to do so. 

7:10 pm - Philosophy in your Pocket: Chancey Fleet will lead a discussion about using a Guide Dog or a Cane based on the following article written be Diane McGeorge, a longtime Federationst, founder of the Colorado Center for the Blind, and guide dog user.
