I apologize, I sent the wrong minutes in my last email. Here are the
December board meeting minutes. Thank you!

NFB of KS Board Meeting 12/13/2025

Attendance: Roets, Page, Fuller, Roberds, Hemphill, Susan Tabor, Rob Tabor

Guests: Christy Roberts, Andrew Crane, Stanzel

Secretary’s report accepted by Page

Treasurer report:

Total as of October- $199,450.74

As of Friday, 12/12- $195,312.51

Fuller will check PayPal and send that total later.

Travel comparisons-

2024- $2,026 due to legislative work and convention prep

2025- $358

Hemphill asked about transportation comparison costs with the lower number
being 2025 and the higher number being 2024, and the recommended use of
volunteer drivers and local members for hotel research for convention to
help save money on convention planning costs

Washington seminar:

8 grant requesters

Page suggested offering half grants to those who don’t fit the criteria
that are helpful to our legislative agenda.

Fuller reported we offered $1200 in 2023 and $1,000 in 20234.

Tabor moved that we offer 1200 per qualified person with a max of 9600,
with executive committee determining who qualifies. Roberds seconded.

Motion carried



We are working on a lobbying day in Topeka with KSSB students. It will be
on January 15th. The kids will be pushing for newsline and one other topic.

Tabor moved that we support the KSSB lobbying day educational initiative
with funding to be determined by the board at a later time. Roets seconded.
Roberds seconded. Motion passed



The MO Bell program is wanting to move to KSSB. This would be helpful to
advertising to our state and we might be able to get more involved.



We will have a general zoom account login very soon. We will also have
access to the treasurer email and a president email.



We are getting a list of two people per chapter to national office to have
access to member management.
