3:09 meeting called to order by First VP Tabor.

Treasurers report correction in minutes is

Fuller  proposes taking out $4,000 out of investments to cover National
convention expenses and up coming insurance payment.

State convention update
Convention will be held November 13-15, 2026
Holiday Inn and Suites Overland Park West 8787 Reeder St. Overland Park, KS
New contract is being written up and will be sent this week. Donna will
review and send to Tom Page for signature. Page plans to run contract past
Patti Chang.

Newsline update
state wide monthly meeting of the newsline coordinators. A proposed once a
month zoom call for people who want to learn more about newsline and bring
in new patrons.

State use law committee
an advisory committee that over sees the contracts and purchases by
sheltered shops in Kansas. Trying to get a successor to Susan Concannon.
Turn over of committee membership.

Texas verses Kennedy law suit challenges regulations to ADA. Kansas has
withdrawn from the lawsuit. This is good news. The law suit is not dead it
just means Kansas will no longer be a part of it.

Holt is putting together a donater letter. She will review it with
President Page and then present it to the board. Discussion held on the
outline of the letter. It was suggested that a small review committee be
formed to over view the construct of the letter.

Robert Fuller requested contact information for the following members
Andrew Crane, Danaria Barlow Kinnick Wooley and Christian Puett.
Chapter Presidents will send that information.

Next meeting will be August 9, 2026 at 3:00PM.
