Greetings, Kansas Federation colleagues,

The arehth annual NFB of Kansas state convention is just around the corner, and that means its time to submit resolutions to be considered and action taken thereoon during the annual business meeting on Sunday, November 15. All resolutions must incbbude

• At least one "whereas" clause, stating a problem experienced by blind people
• At least one "be it resolved" clause proposing a solution to the problem

Numerous sample resolutions can be accessed through our national website at www.nfb.org. Please submit your resolution drafts or ideas to me at the email address shown at the end of this posting.

Last year, as some of you may recall, we conducted the resolutions committee meeting on our Zoom channel on Tuesday evening just before convention weekend. The new approach was very successful, so we plan to meet on the Zoom this year, though the exact day and time is yet to be determined.
Thus, the sooner you can get your resolution sent, the better. In the meantime, enjoy this fall, and happy writing.

Best regards,

Rob Tabor | first vice president / resolutions chairman National Federation of the Blind of Kansas
