Hi,
I hope all of you are doing well!
As you may recall Envision conducts Workforce Readiness Bootcamp programs in Wichita and Dallas. These programs provide both assistive technology, mainstream technology, and job readiness practical training.
We are holding another bootcamp this September, and still have a few slots open to any Kansas state residents.
Here are the basic details:
Sunday September 20th: Arrive and orientation at the Old Town Hotel Wichita. The program provides hotel room accommodations, meals, and transportation once in Wichita.
Monday September 21st - Thursday September 24th: Individeual and group technology, job readiness, and skill training at Envision Wichita on North Main Street. Also includes guest speakers, tours, and other topics of interest such as the arts. Includes resume building, mock interviews, and the opportunity to apply for a few jobs. Includes professional headshots, and assistance creating job accounts with platforms like Indeed or LinkedIn.
Thursday September 24th: Graduation. Participants choose technology to receive at home such as a computer, Meta glasses, etc. Participants are also introduced to the ongoing Envision Workforce Pathways program, formally called College Success Program, CSP. Envision has obtained grant funding for Kansas participants to participate in this program.
Thursday September 24th - Friday September 25th: Participants check out of the Hotel at Old Town and return home.

We can also arrange a time to do a call to go over the program in more detail.
Please also spread the word to Kansas residents who may not be on this list or receive this communication.
Also Terese Rieley on the WIC team can answer questions and assist. Many of you may have met Terese in the course of technology training, Level Up, and other programs. Terese can be reached at:

I look forward to traveling to Wichita to help facilitate this program and seeing many of you!
Thank you!
Best,
Mika
