[humanser] CGP or other group therapy certification?

J D,
Can you imagine any benefit? I was considering the certification as a
credential builder to strengthen my affiliation. I currently work at a
competitive training hospital on a part time basis. When my internship
residency is complete I would like to secure my current position in a more
substantial, full-time role. I was wondering if certifications have been
found to make any difference in the outcome. Does anyone have thoughts?
Mary

Hi Mary:

I have noticed this certification advertised. It does look interesting, but
fairly useless to my mind. I find groupwork rewarding, but getting
certified isn't in my future.

Nonetheless, I would say that there is no problem with a blind person
seeking certification.
