Hi Merry,


I have not responded to your recent messages as I have been dealing with 
much over the past few months:  my dog guide, Pippin, died in my arms after 
12 hours of departing, mostly peaceful.  My attorney wrote a letter to my 
employer and they now are recognizing that I am blind after nearly  12 years 
of employment.  And, as of Monday I'll be moving to a different position, 
working in a newly created adult clinic.  So it goes.


I continue to be distressed by the Rick Brown story.  I believe that it is 
time for him to call the Board of the Human Service Division together and 
pass the Presidency to our VP.  I will be sending emal towards that effect.


Your new office sounds scary to me,  marketing  oneself is tricky when you 
don't have a solid background.  But, if no one wants to hire you, you must 
do something.  A friend is working under the roof of a church and has 
referrals from within the congragation.  My reading of regulations says that 
you can work independently under a not-for-profit firm.  But, I know little. 
Trust your supervisor, you are officially working under her supervision and 
she is responsible.  It takes the pressures off you (smile).


I trust that you and M are doing well, you two are one of my favorite 
couples.
