Mary,
I sent you my e-mail address. JD, I'm truly disappointed that nothing came
of my resolution but, I too, am happy that the concerns for parenting by
blind persons goes on. thanks for letting me know what happened, though.
Regards,
Denise

Hello Denise:
Yes, I recall helping you with that resolution, passed by the NFB of Florida
in 2005. It focused, I recall, on blind folks being able and capable to
adopt, parent and foster children. Unfortunately it sits on the web page of
the NFBF and has not resulted in any action. It can be read there.
I am delighted that National passed a similar resolution this year.

Okay, this is off topic but, Adam and I were speaking about the resolution
concerning parenting that was passed at the National Convention. JD, you
helped me write a resolution for a Florida State Convention back in 2005, I
thought I'd ask whether or not anything came of it. Maybe you don't
remember since it's been a long time but, if you could let me know about the
resolution and what's happened with it, I'd be happy. If anyone else
remembers the resolution which also had to do with parenting, let me know.
I'm just curious.
Thanks,
Denise

Would it not be a good thing if our Division meetings did not happen at the
exact same time? I wonder if that might be negotable?

Good morning to all, i just wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate
the newly elected board members. Although I am working in the rehab
field, i am a social worker first. I believe you all are going to do a
great job.
