Angelina,

I would simply state up front that you're blind and that you need a driver. It may be possible to even get a driver assigned to you from your state agency.

It may also be possible to use public transportation or the various driving services that are provided for the blind depending on what state you live in.

If you're not already a member consider joining the national Federation of the blind or other organizations for the blind.

Go visit whichever organization your closest to. Identify the person in that organization that handles transportation needs. They very they may very well be able to offer a variety of alternatives to what I have offered.

Did they require you to have a drivers license? How are you able to work around this requirement? Thank you for any input.
