Karen,
Do you contact the provider relations department directly to become listed? Is there any certification or credentialing process? Is this the same as sitting on an insurance panel? And, I have been told that the paper work for insurance reimbursement is a nightmare for providers, your thoughts?

Hi – I lost money for many years in private practice until I became in network for a number of insurance companies about 20 years ago. Now I am always over the phone with clients. White not apply to all of the major insurance companies to become a provider. Check it out provider relations department for each insurance company –
