Sarah,
Thanks. So, thereputic rec is the same as recreation therapy.
So, you work at the NC rehab center. cool. that's next to the Nc school for
the blind, right?
Since I have a few distant cousins down there plus my grandmother's roots
are there, I've seen roleigh and rode by the blind school campus. nice area.
I don't think many centers have a recreation therapist on staff; how
interesting.
So, what do you do at the center? okay, recreation based, but is it like
physical exercise or outdoor activites? field trips to do things like raft,
canoe, or horse back ride?
Maybe I could chat off list? I'm curious about your job and the center you
work at; I'm in VA so I cannot come there but I'm curious as to how the
center is run.
I'm deciding what work I'd like to do and have enjoyed the list to learn of
barriers and challenges and successes of people in human services.
Ashley

Yes, TR/RT are interchangeable. Four yr degree, as well as masters and
doctorate. They also have RTAs which is a two yr degree.
