This is one reason why individuals are encouraged to take personal conversations off-list. If you want to share your personal information with someone, please do it between yourselves. Even if the list were not a public archive, sharing personal information on this list is like talking to a friend on a bus and sharing your telephone number, social security number, or any other personal information. There is no expectation of privacy in a public forum.

Thanks for bringing this up Alyssa. I wasn't aware a dimple simple google search by anyone could bring out posts . Dave Andrews, Is there anything we can do to make ths listserve more private? I share Alyssa's concerns.
This is dangerous for single folks to have connection information shared, especially women. We don’t' need a stalker to make life more complicated.
Are there any options?
