[humanser] Paying to Join the Federation

Hello Everyone,

As a proud member I want to say that I know of no other organization on this
planet that has done as much for
blind people all over the world as the Federation has; and
the amount of money I am asked to contribute for what I receive in return is
like a drop of water in all the oceans on earth. The support, love, and
understanding that I receive regarding issues related to blindness is non
paralleled.

Furthermore, history has shown me that the federation knows the truth about
blindness. We as blind people should make decisions for ourselves; and we
can do much more collectively than individually. Finally, legislative and
legal activities, technological advances, advocacy and all of the programs
associated with the federation cost millions of dollars.

Mary Ann Robinson
